Coconut-Dalia chutney is a frequently made side dish for Dosas, Idlis, Upma varieties and few snacks. A pretty common, famous south indian side dish. It is a very simple and fast side dish that can be made with very few ingredients.  My hubby says.., and most of the south indians say.. there is nothing special about a Dosa, Idli or a Upma when not accompanied with this chutney 🙂 Here it is. Potlakaya Perugu Pachadi / Snake gourd curd chutney

Welcome back!! Beautiful summer vacations are literally keeping me away from blogging. Anyways.., I am back! Our town does not have any Indian stores and when on vacation, I make sure that I come back with lots and lots of Indian vegetables. I had some nice soft Snake gourds which actually does not fall in my fav list. I prefer very selected recipes of Snake gourd. After a long recovery from the winter sickness, I am back again on a wonderful occasion.  Wanted to post a recipe for the arriving festival of our Telugu calendar “Ugadi”, which has fallen on 23rd of this month. Posting it in advance so as to make it available for the festival to our viewers.
